WATER SYSTEM TELEMETRY SYSTEM REPLACEMENT

General Notice

TOWN OF STEVENSVILLE (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: WATER SYSTEM TELEMETRY SYSTEM REPLACEMENT

Project Number: 10235808

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Town of Stevensville Town Hall located at 206 Buck Street, Stevensville, MT 59870 until Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 5:00 pm local time. Original copies must be submitted in a sealed envelope; no faxed or electronic bids will be accepted. Received bids will be publicly opened and read aloud during the council meeting on Thursday June 26nd, 2025, at 6:30pm. The chosen bid for construction will be awarded at a Special Town Council meeting on July 8, 2025, at 5:30 pm.

The Project includes the following Work:

The Town of Stevensville water telemetry system is beyond its anticipated life cycle and is comprised of obsolete equipment that needs replacement. Priority sites, listed in order of importance, are as follows:

  • Master Telemetry Control Panel at Town’s Well Field
  • Telemetry Control Panel at Middle Burnt Fork Reservoir
  • Master SCADA System at Town’s Well Field
  • Redundant Master SCADA System at Town’s Wastewater Treatment Plant (Bid Alt)
  • Telemetry Control Panel at Well #1 (Bid Alt)

Scope of work to include improving replacing control panels, upgrades to communications systems, radio antenna replacements, and implementing remote monitoring features that encompass: Water flow, well levels, system pressures, tank levels, motor amps, valve positions, various analyzers, chemical dosing systems, and ancillary system status.

 

The Project has an expected duration of approximately 135 days; Substantial Completion by November 30th, 2025

Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a Bidding Documents holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a third-party plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with Addenda, lists of registered Bidding Documents holders, reports on the Site, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, Addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.

Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm local time and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Pre-bid Conference

A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project.
