STATUS: Full-time Civilian Position eligible for benefits

HOURLY RATE: $15.02 - $18.17 hourly

 

The Stevensville Police Department is seeking an individual with experience in general secretarial and clerical support to be our next Police Clerk. The Police Clerk is responsible for performing secretarial and clerical work with accuracy and speed in support of the Police Department.  This position organizes most administrative oriented tasks and is a direct resource for information to the public.

The Police Clerk is a team player and strong communicator that helps the organization meet it's objectives and takes initiative to positively represent the Town of Stevensville. Work is conducted primarily in an office setting. It involves occasional attendance at meetings to include some irregular hours.

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or GED equivalent with two years of related experience performing responsible clerical duties. Candidate must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive background check

Position will pay depending on experience with a full slate of benefits including paid sick and vacation leave, paid holidays, retirement plan and health insurance.
