The Stevensville Fire Department is seeking a dynamic, motivated, hands-on type for the position of Administrative Assistant. This part-time position serves all administrative functions of the Fire Department.

Applicants should have prior knowledge of fire department operations and administration, office operations and procedures and typing and keyboarding skills. Progressively responsible experience in accounting, budgeting and analytical processes is helpful. Experience in public/media relations and marketing/recruitment is also benefitial in this position. A degree from an accredited college or university is preferred but not required.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and legal authorization to work in the United States.

Position will pay depending on experience with pro-rated benefits including paid sick and vacation leave, paid holidays, retirement plan and health insurance.
