TOWN OF STEVENSVILLE ANNOUNCES CANCELLATION OF SPRING COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP EVENT & ESTABLISHES DATES FOR

CURBSIDE DEBRIS PICKUP

Stevensville, MT – The Town of Stevensville is committed to fighting the COVID-19 virus and slowing its spread. With the Stay Home order from Governor Steve Bullock and social distancing measures being implemented, the decision has been made to cancel the annual community clean-up event and arbor-day celebration.

Although the annual community clean-up event won’t be held this year, officials with the Town’s Public Works Department are getting ready for the annual spring curb-side yard debris pickup. Curb-side pickup will begin on Monday, April 27 and continue through May 1. The Town of Stevensville is pleased to provide residents with curbside debris pick-up and disposal, responding to citizen needs and delivering more efficient service. There is no need to contact Town Hall to pre-arrange a pickup date.

Tip’s for curbside debris collection:

  • Leave debris on the street side of your property, as close to the curb as possible.
  • The Town will only collect organic materials such as branches and leaves. We will not pick-up any household waste, trash or building materials.
  • Branches cannot exceed 4 feet in length. Please cut longer branches
  • Make sure your debris is ready for pick-up by 8:00am on the day of pick-up.

Residents are encouraged to view the map found on the Town’s website at www.townofstevensville.com/streets. The colored areas of the map will determine the day that your debris will be picked up by the Public Works Department during the week of April 27th – May 1st. Pick-up days are scheduled as follows:

  • Zone A = Blue Color: Monday 4/27 (Northeast Area, Pine Street to the West and 4th Street to the North)
  • Zone B = Red Color: Tuesday 4/28 (West Central Area, Main Street to the West and South Avenue North to 4th Street)
  • Zone C = Green Color: Wednesday 4/29 (Central Area, Smith & Dayton Subdivisions)
  • Zone D = Orange Color: Thursday 4/30 (East Area, Pine Street East to Park Avenue, Eastside Highway to Middle Burnt Fork Road)
  • Zone E = Purple Color: Friday 5/1 (Creekside Meadows & Twin Creeks Subdivisions)
