Building Inspector

The Town of Stevensville is seeking an individual with experience in building construction and building standards to serve as a building inspector. The position is a part-time inspector that assists the public, contractors and other town departments as it relates to codes and information. The position conducts on-site inspections of construction projects for compliance with adopted codes and accepted building practices and issues correction notices as needed.

The Building Inspector is a team player and strong communicator that helps the organization meet it's objectives and takes initiative to positively represent the Town of Stevensville. Work is conducted in an office setting as well as in the field.

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to the requirements listed in the position description will be considered. CERTIFICATION IN ALL DISCIPLINES IS HIGHLY DESIRED.

Position will pay depending on experience with a full slate of benefits including paid sick and vacation leave, paid holidays, retirement plan and health insurance.
