The Town of Stevensville is seeking an individual with experience in local government, municipal record keeping, and communications to be our next Town Clerk. The Town Clerk is responsible for controlling and organizing Town ordinances, resolutions, and public documents.  This position organizes most administration oriented tasks and is a direct resource for information to the public.

The Town Clerk is a team player and strong communicator that helps the organization meet it's objectives and takes initiative to positively represent the Town of Stevensville. Work is conducted primarily in an office setting. It involves frequent attendance at meetings to include some irregular hours.

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school or GED equivalent with specialized course work in general office practices, or data processing; and five (5) years of increasingly responsible related experience. Preference will be given to those who hold a college degree, especially in a field that would suit this position well.
