Wednesday Closures from 12pm-5:00pm at Town Hall Update

As many of you may have seen, the town hall administrative window has been closed Wednesday's from 12:00pm-5:00pm.

The town clerk and deputy clerk have been digging through hundreds of boxes and files on Wednesday's and have made huge progress in making sure that town documents are archived correctly.

*Building Department files are coming along well, each address in town has a file.  Building, electrical, plumbing and mechanical permits are filed by address. We are sure that more will surface as we continue to go through boxes.

*Zoning records and files for both in town limits and out of town limits are in appropriate file cabinets.

*Water and Wastewater documents to include files and projects have been placed in appropriate file cabinets.

*Airport documents to include files and projects have been placed in appropriate file cabinets.

Our next area to tackle will be financial records dating back to1960. 

We look forward to next Wednesday when we can tackle the next area. We would like to thank the town council and mayor for approving the closure.
