The Town of Stevensville announced Monday the launch of a new, improved bill pay service with a user-friendly portal and enhanced features to safely view and pay bills online.

The system officially launched on July 26, 2021.

In addition to being able to make a payment online any time and from anywhere, customers will also have the option to go paperless and/or sign up for notifications via text message.

As part of the change, current customers will need to register their accounts with a Web ID found on their utility bill. Customers will then be able to input payment information and enroll in automatic payments, if desired.

Beginning July 26, customers wishing to make a payment may simply click on the “Pay Online” button at www.townofstevensville.com to get started and it will direct them to the new site.

Anyone with questions regarding accounts or the Town's enhanced security measures should email info@townofstevensville.com, making sure to include first name, last name and account number.

"Customers have asked for an enhanced way to pay their utility bill online that provides a better experience than our old system." said Mayor Brandon Dewey. "Transitioning to the new portal is another way the Town is innovating to improve service to the community and respond to citizen needs".

The new system allows customers to pay their bill via credit or debit card, or by e-check. Customers can securely store this information in the system for future payments. The Town will continue to take payments by mail, over the phone, and at Town Hall via the secure payment drop box.
